Administrative Director & Social Media Manager Position
Status: Part-time, hourly, 15-20 hours/week
Terms: $20-$22/hour, commensurate with experience with room to grow in the future.

A non-profit heart based dance organization dedicated to helping people embody their purpose for being alive, uplifting and energizing people worldwide to become more loving, conscious and passionate about protecting the environment, and upholding justice as well as human and animal rights.
Position Overview
The Administrative Director / Social Media Manager will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the operations of the organization and managing social media platforms. We seek an individual passionate about working in a fusion of arts, education and activism. Position is mostly remote with flexible hours and some occasional in person meetings in the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities
Social Media
- Drive marketing campaigns including:
- Manage social media platforms: primarily FB, IG and youtube with occasional posting on LinkedIn and Twitter
- Work closely with copy writer/content creater
- Create social media graphics and videos
- Oversee email marketing
- Manage the marketing campaign calendar
- Send listings to existing affiliates and influencers and discover new ones
- Identify objectives and goals for email and social media strategy with an eye toward growth
- Ensure the team is on track to successfully complete campaigns
Administrative
- Respond to email inquiries from presenters and students
- Send emails to registrants (using templates)
- Maintain the Dance of Oneness schedule and calendar
- Assist live online sessions on Zoom
- Project Management for Marketing Team
Qualifications
You are driven, highly organized, creative, a self-starter, self-initiator and comfortable working independently and with others as a team
- 2+ years experience or an understanding of the arts, marketing, media, and nonprofits
- Education/background in graphic design or ability to create effective infographics using Photoshop or Canva
- Experience managing brand social media accounts & social media ads
- Proficiency with social media platforms and best practices to reach wide and diverse audiences through digital marketing
- Basic video editing skills
- Experience with email marketing. We use Mailerlite
- Familiarity with LMS, e-commerce, CRMs, Asana
- Basic understanding of analytics and SEO
- Ability to work remotely, with occasional hours attending special events, workshops or administrative meetings.
- Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills with superior attention to detail, follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including a sharp eye for editing and proofreading
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students/customer and other team members
- Commitment to social justice
- The following would be a cherry on top:
- Familiar with Dance of Oneness and possess love and enthusiasm for expanding this work
Compensation
- This is a part-time position of approximately 60 hrs a month (15 hours weekly) to be undertaken remotely and occasionally in the Greater Los Angeles area
- Depending on experience, the starting wage will range between $20-22/hr with room to grow in the future. Hourly rate is negotiable after 6 months to a year of joining the team based on performance
